The month flew by and yet nothing catastrophic happened in HYIP or Pay4Surf.


Of course, there were the usual ups and downs but on the whole, it seemed to prove out our general philosophy of staying with the 'middle of the road' and not make major course changes. In autosurfs,12by12Daily and 13DailyPro are still the shining lights of the industry, while PaidToSurfDaily is struggling to make a comeback.

In the HYIP arena, Global Online Depository
has switched gears and has scaled back the ROI that it offers, but is STILL a solid bet. Mentors4Profit seems to be having some teething problems, since it hasn't made a payment to us in over 2 weeks now but we still have confidence that it will bounce back.

Our main reasons for not posting here as often as normal are twofold:

1. We took a week off mid-month to go on a Guardian International Travel cruise. We have been in this program for 10 months now and wanted to meet some of the other folks involved. Not only did we enjoy the cruise and make new friends but also came back with renewed faith that this program is not only solid but also heading for an even bigger future.
   
   
2. We have been working feverishly behind the scenes to add features and benefits to our NetJunkie Club site. Although this program is still in development and pre-launch, things are progressing even if a little slower than planned. In the next 48 hours, we will be launching the next major plank of our platform: our own Text Ad, Banner and Popunder exchange. You can see a couple of examples on this very page (Ad boxes marked 'Ads by AdShow'). Still more is yet to come, so keep watching this space....
   

Nothing worth anything is FREE! Actions speak louder than dreams!

After almost eight years online, we are constantly reminded that the majority of aspiring moneymakers are still merely window-shopping, hoping for that 'deal of a lifetime' that will probably never come. It is sure that we have backed our share of losers over the years and sometimes, we felt like throwing in the towel with events like the OSGold collapse (if you can remember that far back!), the 12DailyPro and StormPay fiasco and our personal trials and tribulations with PayPal.

Looking back, we realise that we were not any smarter than others. We have no particular skills or traits that give us an edge. And yet, in spite of much adversity, we are still here managing to make a living where so many have tried and failed. Our only REAL advantages are determination and refusal to give up. We simply refuse to admit defeat! When you consistently refuse to give up, eventually, success is the only thing left....

It's been another topsy-turvy period in HYIP and AutoSurf. A couple of our stable favorite HYIPS, Global Online Depository and FantasticPay are undergoing momentous changes. We have made (and continue to make) good money with both because we had the foresight to get in in the early stages. 40c/minute gives one a whole new perspective on the Internet


My wife often describes herself as a 'computer widow'. When we went cruising recently from Miami to Key West and Cancun, she got to see more of me than usual for two principal reasons.

1. Carnival had just done a refit on the Fascination, our cruise ship and we discovered before we left that wireless Internet was supposed to be available throughout the vessel. Only arriving on board did we discover that their 'discounted' rate for bulk minutes was $24.95/hour. Otherwise, the regular rate is 75c/minute. That's enough to crimp any NetJunkie's style.
   
   
2. There were still more than a few kinks in their system. Wireless access was not available the whole time we were on board. Note to self: Get RoboForm's portable password system ASAP! Using their public computers for email and Pay4Surf was excrutiating...
   

The good news is that 5 days of relative separation from all things online gives one new perspective about what's important and what's not. However, time marches on, whether we pay attention to it or not.

Imagine our surprise when we discovered yesterday that our VOIP provider has vanished into the ether. A little investigation shows that it was part of a larger network operating out of Marbella, Spain and has been dodging bullets for some time.

We were only involved with the VOIP telephony side of the business and, on the whole, had positive experiences with this, except we never received the incoming number that we had paid for.
