There are a LOT of CHILDREN in HYIP & AutoSurf!

In just the last few hours, we have witnessed the worst of the industry in a 'down and dirty' feud conducted by two fully grown adults through the medium of a public forum (ASA vs. PTSPayPro). It truly doesn't matter who is right and wrong. The end result (as usual), will be that the 'little guy' will lose money!

It is probably no different in most walks of life. On the Internet, though, one is REALLY washing the dirty laundry in public. And yet, it is a medium where one has the chance for a considered response rather than simply 'flying off the handle'! Seems that many prefer to shoot from the hip and hang the consequences. I think that we can soon coin a term 'Internet Rage' in the same vein as 'Road Rage'. Some feel invincible seated behind their keyboard ;-)

Well, the rage can continue there, and we will try to counter with a little sanity here!

__*Gimmee-5 - URL: http://gimmee-5.com -* Launch Delayed:__
As we started the New Year, a couple of things became clear:

-
- We probably have TOO much on our plate. Too many things to monitor, update, create etc.

- We need to set some priorities and explain that to YOU, so that you understand why there is sometimes a delay in getting back to you or getting out updates!

- Health and family MUST come first

With the above in mind, we have decided to delay the launch of *Gimmee-5 - URL: http://gimmee-5.com -* until January 25th. This is primarily because the development site has been down for almost 72 hours and counting!

We are also taking a few days off (in line with priority #3) to visit our daughter in Paris. We will therefore be mostly out of contact between the 17th - 23rd January.

In the meantime, we would like to explain our strategy behind the 5 programs that will form the basis for MANY members making a LOT of money both inside and outside of *Gimmee-5 - URL: http://gimmee-5.com -*.
- *SteadyDailyIncome - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?SDI -*:
This is fast becoming our favourite program and it is not yet in the spotlight. Daily payments are nice but there is a strategy where you can minimize your outlay and maximize your returns. You sponsor yourself several times (yes, it's legal). Full details of our strategy are available on the *NetJunkieClub forum - URL: http://forum.netjunkieclub.com/viewtopic.php?t=76 -*:

- *ManicAds - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?ManicAds -*:
As programs become more sophisticated, it takes a little more strategy to be able to use the program's features to maximize your income. *ManicAds - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?ManicAds -* is a GOOD case in point. There is a WIDE variety of options. You also have to choose between fast and regular cashout. It would take a lot of mathematical calculations to really figure everything to the nth degree but the quick and dirty for us is twofold:

    A. We will put priority on turning our money as quickly as possible.

    B. Re-investing from our account saves on fees. Making withdrawals as seldom and as big as possible also reduces fees!

Again, we have posted in the *NetJunkieClub forum - URL: http://forum.netjunkieclub.com/viewtopic.php?t=78 -* exactly how we use the different plans:

- *Private Forex Trade - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?PFT -*:
Just coming up to our 3 month anniversary with PFT. We either compound or withdraw weekly and have not had a single problem. Our strategy here is simply to look at recent history (over the last year typically) and place our spends into the Top 3 most profitable currency pairs. This strategy seems to work well since overall trends don't seem to change that quickly. We are definitely beating the average placing our spends this way and are diversified enough to smooth out any sudden swings in any single currency pairs.

- *egoldRevolution - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?EGoldRev -*:
This is the simplest of all the programs so far! All you have to remember is that there is a $1.00 withdrawal fee and the maximum daily withdrawal is $20.00. Therefore, you should wait until you have $20 to make a withdrawal. On a $5 withdrawal, the fee becomes 20% on $20 its only 5%.
The real value of this one lies in the fact that as a PRO member you can add three sites or pages that ALL members must view either when they log in or when they make a withdrawal. There are currently 22,000+ members. This is a GREAT captive audience.

- *NetJunkie Club - URL: http://netjunkieclub.com -*:
Since *Gimmee-5 - URL: http://gimmee-5.com -* membership will be FREE for subscribed *NetJunkie Club* members, you can AUTOMATICALLY be building referral income in ALL of the programs above. Plus there are several other income streams from within NJC.
The most up-to-date news on ALL the above is on our *HYIP & AutoSurf Monitor site - URL: http://hyipmonitor.w3junkie.com -*

Don't forget to give other members the benefit of your own experience by posting in the forum or voting on the Monitor site!

RSS is your Real Simple Solution for Staying up-to-date!

We must start this post with an apology to our readers for not posting much over the holidays. If you are using our RSS Updates, you will KNOW that we have not been idle! If you have not subscribed to any or all of our Network feeds read on!

If you are NOT making the most of RSS technology to keep you up to date with almost NO effort, shame on you! You can get a *FREE reader - URL: http://forum.netjunkieclub.com/viewtopic.php?t=41 -* and full instructions on setting it up at :

We are in the process of updating our RSS links on our sites but perhaps the most important one is: *HYIP & AutoSurf RSS Updates - URL: http://how2makemoney2.com/hyip/news.xml -*

Even though this is best viewed in an RSS Reader, most newer browsers will interpret it and some will even allow you to subscribe from within your browser. Only the Reader will give you INSTANT alerts whenever there is a new post though!

We currently have about a dozen feeds in our own reader and they keep us up to date with AutoSurfs, HYIPs, Marketing News and much more. We will publish our favourite feeds in the Members Only area of the *NetJunkieClub forum - URL: http://forum.netjunkieclub.com -* shortly!

The New Year has brought a spate of happenings in our Recommended programs. Most are documented throughout our network but below is a summary:
- *PTSPayPro - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?PTSPyPro -* Relaunched:
Without doubt the most profitable AutoSurf at the moment, offering 250% over 10 days. Members of the previous site MUST sign up again in the new program and remember to change any advertising links to reflect your NEW ID.

- *InvestPlace - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?InvstPlc -* Back from the NetherWorld?:
Just as suddenly as it disappeared, *InvestPlace - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?InvstPlc -* sprang back to life this week. Perhaps they had to change hosts because when we checked there was NO sign of the site, server or IP. Anyway, we are now only awaiting our outstanding withdrawals to be able to place IP back into 'Paying' mode. It is unlikely that they would have come back only to go again so soon, so we are confident that the payouts WILL come soon!

- *Steady Daily Income - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?SDI -*:
This is, without doubt, the program that holds the MOST promise for 2007. It's NOT a high performer but pays steady DAILY payments with virtually no risk. Good for Passive Investors, GREAT for those who will work at referrals. We have already re-couped our initial outlay in our first position. This is the first program that we consider safe enough for the Club to put money into. As a result, the link below will earn money for the profit pool shares, should you decide to join through this link!

- *Gimmee-5 - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?Gimmee-5 -*:
It might seem that we have made little progress so far this week but quite the reverse is true. If the site seemed SLOW when you tried to access it earlier, this was due to the database being located on a remote server. We have now moved site and database to the same server and response is MUCH improved. We have also added some bells and whistles to the main page. You can see the progress that we have made at the following pages:

*Gimmee-5 Main Page - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?Gimmee-5 -*

*Gimmee-5 Income Streams - URL: http://gimmee-5.com/5-income-streams.php -*

*Gimmee-5 Payment Processors - URL: http://gimmee-5.com/5-payment-processors.php -*

- Conf. Calls resume:
We will be resuming our regular conference calls on Monday evening at 9PM EST.

On this call we will discuss 3 Topics:

1. Gimmee-5 Launch
2. NetJunkie Club features and benefits
3. Recommended Program Updates

Each should take up about 15 minutes and then 15 mins for a general Q&A session.

Call will close at 10PM EST

Free Conference Call Login Details:
Conference Dial-in Number: (605) 772-3800

Make the Resolution that 2007 is YOUR year!

We know that many of you will likely be making some commitments to yourself about what you are going to achieve in 2007 in your online endeavours - If you have not ALREADY done so!

2006 was, in many respects, a VERY mixed bag. Many of us entered it in seemingly good shape as some large HYIPS and AutoSurfs looked promising (*SolidInvest, 12DailyPro, AlienTrust et.al.*). Then we got knocked for a collective loop when, one by one, they crashed.

We dusted ourselves off and got back on the horse with *12by12Daily, 13DailyPro, 6K-Finance, InvestPlace* and a few others. Then, in December, they too ALL bit the dust. If you are beginning to think that these things are cyclical, you are ABSOLUTELY correct!

For our part, we have managed to survive all this and still come out in profit overall but it still takes its toll, especially at this time of year when so many have been hit hard in the pocketbook by all the program failures. Luckily, a couple of months ago, we started in a NEW direction.

We realised that we could not build a sustainable residual income stream with HYIPs and AutoSurfs alone. It is possible to make a living with them but it is fraught with frustration and uncertainty and requires constant vigilance and ability to identify problems and changes and move quickly to take advantage of trends and opportunities. Although we will not abandon this high-octane area completely, we will no longer allow it to take the majority of our focus as it has in the recent past.

Luckily, with the advent of our new *HYIP & AutoSurf monitoring site - URL: http://hyipmnitor.w3junkie.com -*, it has become easier for us to keep members updated on late-breaking news. Also, the *HYIP and AutoSurf - URL: http://forum.netjunkieclub.com/viewforum.php?f=5 -* section of the *NetJunkieClub forum* serves this purpose but with a slightly different focus. You will note that several programs have been dumped in the bit-bucket but some new promising ones have sprung up:

*Visit our HYIP & AutoSurf Monitor for latest program updates - URL: http://hyipmonitor.w3junkie.com -*
*Links to NetJunkie Club HYIP & AutoSurf forum - URL: http://forum.netjunkieclub.com/viewforum.php?f=5 -*

When we started out on the Internet some eight (short?) years ago, our focus was on Internet Marketing. We quickly discovered that it was possible to generate income by choosing Top Quality products and marketing them. Trouble was, if you stopped advertising, the income stopped too. Also, products AND advertising venues changed constantly also and the buying public changed with them.

There is only one product or site that has remained constant in our network since early 2001. For the last couple of years we have totally neglected it and only a few devoted members have continued to support it even though it has become sadly out of date.

The GOOD news is that the former *$5 Solution Page* is making a comeback on January 15th with an entirely NEW face, name and business plan!

Over the last few days, we have started to formulate a plan that will allow YOU to start out 2007 on a winning streak. If you are already a member of either The $5 Solution or The NetJunkie Club, you will AUTOMATICALLY be grandfathered (at NO additional cost) into our new site that will launch on January 15th. We have registered a new domain for the site and you can already visit our pre-launch URL where you can start to prepare to get the jump on the rest of the Internet.

*Check out Gimmee-5 Now in Pre-launch - URL: http://gimmee-5.com -*

The beauty of our new program is that it will allow for BOTH active and passive income generation. You can simply market the program itself and it will generate several streams of income without much work. It will aslo contain totally passive income possibilities so that those who are convinced that active marketing is not for them can still generate revenue. The best part is that it will only take $10 to get started which will make it both attractive and accessible to a WIDE audience.

We will be sending a more detailed explanation to NetJunkieClub members and $5 Solution Page owners in short order. IN the meantime, if you are not part of either group, you can still access our 7 day $7 trial here:

*NetJunkie Club Trial - URL: http://netjunkieclub.com/trial.php?id=w3junkie -*

We wish ALL our members and readers a Happy and, ABOVE ALL, a Prosperous New Year!

12 Days but NO Partridge OR Pear Tree!

It's the Holiday Season and definitely a time for giving and receiving! We mentioned in our last post about how we were tired of all the Mega-Marketing Packages that come around at this time of year. And yet, we wanted to do something to show our appreciation to YOU, our loyal readers.....

So here's what we came up with:
- *Cash for the Holidays - URL: http://resources.netjunkieclub.com/Christmas-Cash.php -*:
For the Next 12 Days (until January 31st), you can take advantage of an AMAZING deal that can BOTH save AND make you money. You may say that it's a little late in the Season, but we didn't want to compete with ALL the others AND, you can use this promotion yourself NEXT year and be AHEAD of the crowd! Or, you can use each of the products individually. You will have FULL Private Label Rights to ALL the products:

More Info - URL: http://resources.netjunkieclub.com/Christmas-Cash.php -

- *12 Day ClickBank product sale: - URL: http://resources.netjunkieclub.com/ -*
Until January 1st. 2007 ALL of our Club *ClickBank* products are offered to you for JUST $12 each.... On some products, this represents a 75% discount. There's something for everyone here.
(NOTE: Only the actual page where you make a purchase reflects the Discounted price!):

More Info - URL: http://resources.netjunkieclub.com/ -

- *12 Megs of FRÉE downloads for ALL forum members: - URL: http://forum.netjunkieclub.com/downloads.php -*
Again, until January 1st. ALL registered forum members have FULL access to our ENTIRE Download vault (110 megs). If you have not yet registered, what are you waiting for? Between now and the end of the year, you can download up to 12 megs of software, ebooks, marketing tools and MUCH more...

Peruse our Download Vault - URL: http://forum.netjunkieclub.com/downloads.php -:

Register with our forum here - URL: http://forum.netjunkieclub.com/profile.php?mode=register -

- *Get EVERYTHING above and MUCH more besides for JUST $12! - URL: http://netjunkieclub.com/12days.php -*
You may think that we've gone CRAZY, but we are REALLY feeling the spirit of the season. So we're offering a one month introductory FULL membership to The NetJunkieClub for JUST $12.

Just for starters, you'll be able to access ALL the ClickBank products (over $300 in value) for FREE and resell them and make 65% profit. We can't even begin to tell you how much value there is in this membership, you will just have to see for yourself!

More Info - URL: http://netjunkieclub.com/12days.php -
*Other NEWS:*
*12by12Daily & 13DailyPro Both gone - URL: http://hyipmonitor.w3junkie.com/news.php?id=20 -*

*Still want Cash for Christmas? Here are a couple of ways:*

-
- *12by12Instant - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?12x12Ins -*:
It's another one like 12by12Daily AND 6K- Finance. It COULD be hit-and-run, but we've taken a chance on it, since it pays you out 12% IMMEDIATELY when you spend. That means only 7 days at risk before you can withdraw your spend and work with profit. It has only been running for 17 days so far and has 4200 members. Now that 12by12Daily and 13DailyPro have gone, this one will surely gain momentum.

More Info - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?12x12Ins -

- *PTSPayPro - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?PTSPyPro -*:
We have kept in constant contact with Terry Kurtis, the owner of the *PTSNetwork Inc.* and feel confident that the time is STILL good to get in on this one. They are making their first round of payouts (and 1 to us) in the next couple of days. With a 250% ROI and a minimum 12 day turnaround, this is a GOOD way to make some quick money to then distribute into safer ventures (or pay down your Holiday bills!)

More Info - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?PTSPyPro -

So that's our suggestions for making some cash for or before the Holidays. Unless something drastic happens, you may well not hear from us until after the mad rush is over. We will resume our conference calls at that time also. Yesterday's call marked our best attendance yet and those who were on the call now have a much better idea of what is in store in the near future....

*Happy Holidays!*

The Dream and FALLACY of Passive Income! 2006-12-16

*We would ALL like to find the Goose that lays the Golden Egg!*
Most of us believe, somewhere deep in our hearts, that she really exists.

And yet, when cooler heads prevail, most of us also understand enough of the basics of the laws of physics to know that it is PHYSICALLY impossible.....

What does this have to do with making money on the Internet? Well, just about everything! The Internet is a totally closed system. Money cannot be created, it can only be transferred. Nothing physical is ever created or destroyed. We simply transfer funds from one virtual account to another based upon some perceived possibility of future value, imaginary OR real!

The only way that value can be 'really' added or created is by transferring money out of the 'virtual realm' using it for some valid purpose that causes it to grow and then transferring that increased value back in again.

Some programs actually function this way but, in our experience, very few! Let's not forget also that this 'transfer' of funds from the virtual to the real world is laborious, sometimes lengthy and above all costly. As a general rule of thumb,
assuming that the majority of programs do NOT generate funds in
the 'real' world, there are only 2 possibilities for generating funds to make payouts to members:
- Use incoming funds to pay current liabilities. This works ONLY as long as incoming spends are greater than current payments to members. Of course, with time, payments due MUST, sooner or later, exceed income. This is when the program crashes....

- Generate income by 'investing' or laying off funds into other programs that are offering higher returns than our program. This way we can even keep the difference. Only problem is, the program we are investing in is either a Type 1 above and will run out of funds or is doing the same as us. Eventually though, the Top type 1 program (12by12Daily - 12DailyPro) will falter or crash and all the type 2 programs will come crashing down with it.
So, how do we chart a strategy to take advantage of this knowledge? There are principally 3 things that we can do:
- Place the bulk our money in as many programs as possible that can be 'seen' to generate funds outside of the Internet HYIP and AutoSurf arenas.

- Only go into Type 1 programs that are in the early stages of their life cycle. Recoup our 'seed' money as quickly as possible and then consistently draw a portion of profit on an ongoing basis.

- Look for Type 1 and Type 2 programs that have a fast cycle time. Programs that offer returns over periods of 90 days or longer have a LONG period of collecting funds without having SERIOUS payouts. By the time a large number of members are ready to start making withdrawals, the owners and admins have absconded with the money!
So here is how you can take advantage TODAY:

*PTSPayPro - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?PTSPyPro -* - Fast Cycle Time, Brand New Program, Known Entity:

PTSPayPro - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?PTSPyPro - is now the third in a network of AutoSurf sites. It's almost certainly a Type 1 program but if we act cautiously, there are good chances for BIG profits. Here's why we think it's a GOOD bet:

-
- It offers VERY high rates of return: 250% over 10 days
- Short cycle time (12 days minimum with FastTrack)
- It is early in its development cycle.
- It is PROBABLY not feeding off 12by12Daily
- Backed by an established network (PTS Network Inc.)

More Info..... - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?PTSPyPro -

*Global Online Depository - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?GlobalOD -* - Bricks & Mortar company:

This one is a real company with a tangible presence generating 'REAL' funds to pay its investors. It offers relatively low daily rates of return and a high minimum spend ($500). However, one real dollar in the bank is worth more than ten 'virtual' dollars that evaporate in an Internet meltdown! You can still more than
double your money over a 12 month period! This program is already 15 months old so it has proven that it is NOT type 1 or 2.

More Info..... - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?GlobalOD -

*Private Forex Trade - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?PFT -*:

Supposedly operating since 2001 but definitely online since Oct. 2005 also proving it is NOT type 1 or 2. YOU decide on which currency pairs you will put your money. By spreading over the ones that historically pay the highest, we have been able to
garner about 12% monthly!

More Info..... - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?PFT -

Of course, you can continue to chase that Golden Goose, but personally, I think we'll stick with a more conservative approach...

If you take the *NetJunkie Club* 7 day trial, we'll show you many more ways to generate income without using type 1 or 2 programs!

Who sends the gobbledegook SPAM and who buys mispelt pharmaceuticals?

*We live in a totally screwed up Cyberworld!*

I am sure that, like me, you get all kinds of garbaage (sic) in your inbox. Did you ever take a moment to wonder just who it is that sends out totally unintelligible messages with no REAL content except a cryptic link!

And who exactly, is dumb enough to click on that link?

If I believed everything that I read in some of those junk emails, I could have equipment as long as the Suez Canal and could last longer than an Ever-Ready battery. I could live in a house with a mortage rate so low that the bank would almost be paying ME to live there.

And should I by chance get sick, no full-price (read safe and legal) drugs for me. No sir! I'm buying my panaceas on the 'net and saving a bundle. And should I happen to get birth control pills instead of Viagra, well, at least they were cheap....

6K-Finance is the Heir Apparent while 12by12Daily languishes 2006-12-04

*6K-Finance is literally Exploding and 12by12Daily is Imploding!*

It soon won't matter whether 12by12Daily is in trouble or not. - Image: http://blog.netjunkieclub.com/styles/aloneinthedark.gif -
Rumour and suspicion will BECOME reality, since there is little or no news coming from Dave or Martin....

Dave Cannard insisted recently that there were NO cashflow problems and yet we have been waiting for a VERY large commission payout for over 2 months. It has been PENDING since November 16 and only pays commissions till Sept. 23rd. Our last regular payment took 11 days instead of 8. If it's not poor cashflow, it's even worse business management....

*6K-Finance - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?6KF -*
This one is simply 'rockin'. They are averaging 400 signups per day, and certainly have the momentum that is now sadly lacking at 12by12. Although it too will eventually fail, daily payouts make it a much safer bet and quicker return on investment. It should last for a couple of months yet provided that Owners/Admin don't get greedy and skim too much off the top......

Microsoft sucks EVEN WORSE than I thought!

*DON'T UPGRADE TO Internet Explorer 7 - PERIOD!* - Image: http://blog.netjunkieclub.com/styles/furious_smiley.gif -

Horror stories continue! Apparently, literally thousands of unsuspecting Miscrosoft customers accepted the automatic upgrade to IE7 only to find that it crashed their machines totally. _It seems to me that the lucky ones are those who have bootleg copies of XP, since they will not be automatically offered the upgrade_ - Image: http://blog.netjunkieclub.com/styles/smiley_2funny.gif -

For our part, having lost certain javascript programming features because Microsoft decided they were security hazards (read: too lazy to fix their own loopholes, so they just block the code!). Now we discover that IE7 often no longer displays the Favicon.ico graphic that would usually show on the page tab. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it isn't! Very annoying.

So far, we haven't found a SINGLE compelling reason for upgrading! - Image: http://blog.netjunkieclub.com/styles/goodbyeie.gif -

*Wow! we sure can't wait to see what disasters VISTA brings with it!*

What's behind the changes at 12by12daily and 13DailyPro?

*Autosurfs 12by12Daily and 13DailyPro announce SLIGHT modifications to their payout terms*

Now it's quite possible that things are exactly as they seem! On the other hand perhaps not! - Image: http://blog.netjunkieclub.com/styles/idunno_smiley.gif -

*THE FACTS*:

*12by12Daily - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?12x12Dly -*: After getting behind in both surfing payouts AND referral commissions, Dave Cannard put out a message of explanation that this was NOT a change of terms merely a reaffirmation that there is some leeway in the terms and they are NOT a guarantee. Nevertheless, the wording has been changed to _'on or about' 7 working days_. As an outcome of this situation, the account maximum has been increased to $12k from $6K. Less than 24 hours after that, it is now possible to have 3 upgrades rather than 2....

*13DailyPro - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?13DP -*: Used to pay within 5 working days. They would make payment on Friday for those spends that became due Saturday and Sunday. They gave a whole bunch of justification why they now will pay over 7 days and actually make payments of the week-ends.

*OUR TAKE*:
We are naturally suspicious! Those FACTS can and will be interpreted by many in many ways. We briefly skimmed various forums today and very few are raising alarm bells. However, 1 + 1 usually equals 2, even in the wacky world of Pay4Surf. Delayed payouts plus two quick modifications that would cause an influx of NEW cash spell POTENTIAL cashflow problems to us. *12by12Daily* has been growing but perhaps not quickly enough to supply sufficient income to cover liabilities... Just a thought! - Image: http://blog.netjunkieclub.com/styles/fyi_smiley.gif -

The same interpretation could be made for *13DailyPro*. They would have to have enough excess cash on Friday to pay 3 days. On the other hand, it makes good sense to pay through the week-end to prevent backlogs.

*THE STATS*
As always, our job here is to arm you with up-to-date information so that you can make GOOD business decisions. In that vein, here is the latest Alexa data for *12by12Daily - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?12x12Dly -* and *13DailyPro - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?13DP -*

- Image: http://netjunkieclub.com/images/blog_alexa_061127.gif -

You can see that BOTH 12by12 and 13DP seem quite healthy as far as traffic growth over the last month is concerned so maybe we are just being overly sensitive.

*THE NEWCOMER*
You will have noticed that we have added a 3rd program: *AdSurfDaily - URL: http://justrw.net/cgi-bin/track/t.cgi?AdSrfDly -* to these stats! This is a relatively new program that is using the new model where a percentage of daily spends are calculated at midnight each day and distributed pro-rata to the previous day's surfers based on the number of ad units that they currently hold. Payments are made on each ad unit until 150% of the spend has been paid out. As you can see from the chart above, they came out of nowhere and have made tremendous inroads in their first month......

Microsoft sucks ROCKS! And I am stuck with them!... 2006-11-26

*DON'T UPGRADE TO IE7 UNTIL YOU __KNOW EVERYTHING__ ABOUT IT!!! *

I don't usually post my gripes here, but, once again, Microsoft has proven how monumentally arrogant and stupid they are....

For a little while, my (legal) XP OS has been cajoling me to 'upgrade' to IE7. Since I had already done this on my laptop and wanted at least one machine with IE6, I kept telling it 'NO'. Well, two days ago, in spite of my denials, it somehow upgraded me anyway?!? (_And it doesn't even know it, since Windows Update is STILL asking me to upgrade_!!!!).

When visiting one of my web pages, a member noticed that the Link Protection feature was no longer working. We spent a few hours checking our code before we finally discovered that Microsoft, in its infinite wisdom decided to disable the 'window.status' javascript function (along with a few others) in IE7. This feature was used EXTENSIVELY throughout our sites to protect our own and our affiliates links from prying eyes. Although there IS still a work-around for this new vulnerability, it will be some time (and a lot of re-coding) before we can fully implement it.

Who knows what else the mighty Microsoft has decided to mess with...

Unfortunately for both you and ourselves, Microsoft's Internet Explorer is still by far the most prevalent web browser and is likely to remain so for the foreseeable future. Therefore, we have no choice but to grin and bear it.
